Seasons of the Spirit is a resource that empowers God’s people to be transformed in Christ.  The session materials gather God’s people together, engage them in Scripture, invite them to respond, and send them out into the world with a blessing.  Following the Revised Common Lectionary, the sessions flow through the yearly cycle of readings, drawing all ages into the Bible.

 ‘Congregational Life’ is a package of materials to support the leaders of learning, worship and serving programs. It provides Sunday by Sunday program resources and assists with ideas and planning.

The age appropriate materials are Multiage 5-12yrs, Birth to age 2, Ages 3-5, Ages 6-8, Ages 9-11, Ages 12-14, Ages15-15, Adult.  All of these resources contain a variety of options and material.  It’s a family of resources for learners and leaders.

The addition of the visual arts, literature and drama and music within this resource enables people to enter into the bible with imagination. The opportunity to have current events linked with the lectionary readings enables us to discover ways our faith works in this world of ours and the relationships we can develop beyond our own community.

www.spiritseasons.com The Seasons of the Spirit website is very exciting.  I have found the dialogue on Spirit Talk a great experience.  The ideas and interaction with people from around the world is amazing.  To get ideas from someone in Scotland for an Advent drama and another from USA all in time for the lesson, what could be better than that!  I would recommend any one using Seasons to become part of Spirit Talk, it’s like have a team working with you who are available at all times day and night.

The Action Zone has become a favourite with many.  “The Story Tree is wonderful, I used the Lady with the Coins and the 6 year olds loved it, the tree looks great and the sound effects add to the atmosphere.”
